Graveside services for Brenda Nation will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Hillcrest Cemetery near Gallatin. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin.

Brenda J. Nation, 56, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at Meadowbrook Rehab Hospital in Gardner, Kan.
Ms. Nation was born Feb. 4, 1950, to Raymond and Grace (Roland) Nation in Rock Island, Ill. She attended school in Kansas City.
Ms. Nation lived all of her life in the Kansas City Area where she was employed at the U.S. Safety Optical Company for 12 years.
She later was employed at the DOT manufacturing for eight years.
She is preceded in death by her father Raymond Nation in 1960.
Survivors include her mother, Grace Nation, Olathe, Kan., one son, Ryan McBride, Lee’s Summit, one daughter, Renee Foust, Ozawkie, Kan.; one brother, Gary Nation, Overland Park, Kan.; one sister, Julia Curiale, Naples, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
