Funeral services for Marjorie Clark have been rescheduled to be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at the Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church southwest of Trenton. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens at Trenton.
The family will meet friends Thursday evening at the Marigold Inn in Jamesport. A scheduled family visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. No visitation is planned at the Resthaven Mortuary at Trenton. The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be left to the Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Marjorie Clark, 89, Queen Creek, Ariz., and former Gallatin and Trenton resident died Friday, Oct. 6, at the home of her daughter of Queen Creek, Ariz.
Mrs. Clark was born on May 16, 1917, at Gallatin, the daughter of Sherman and Gladys Shafer Dixon. She attended Gallatin High School.
On December 23, 1935, she was married to Colonel "Cano" R. Clark at Yuma, Ariz. After their marriage they moved to California for a year before moving back to Missouri. He preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2002.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the Dockery Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Clark was also preceded in death by her parents, a son Barry Lane Clark, a brother, Clinton Dixon and a sister, Donna Courter.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Jackson of Queen Creek, Ariz.; one son, Sherman Clark, Queen Creek, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
