Jessica Fifer, is among the officers chosen for the Student Senate at North Central Missouri College for the academic year.
She was named Public Relations Officer. An Agriculture Business Education major at NCMC, Miss Fifer is a freshman on the college campus and a graduate of Gallatin High School.
Megan Schmidt of Laredo assumes leadership of the student body as President with Cara Williams of Meadville as the Vice-President. Both Miss Schmidt and Miss Williams are sophomores at NCMC and are active members of the Post Secondary Agricultural Student Organization. Miss Schmidt is an Agriculture Education major on the NCMC campus and a graduate of Trenton High School while Miss Williams is an Agriculture Business major and a Meadville High School graduate. Both young women plan to transfer to Northwest Missouri State University following graduation from NCMC.
Kansas City resident Tiara Johnson is the new Student Senate Secretary. A graduate of Kansas City West Port High School, Miss Johnson is a sophomore Business major at NCMC with plans to transfer to a four-year university after graduation. The 2006-07 Treasurer of the Student Senate is Austin Laudwig of Kirksville. A freshman Agriculture Ed/Agriculture Business major at NCMC, Austin is a graduate of Kirksville High School.
The 2006 officers were recognized at Tuesday evening’s meeting of the College Board of Trustees. Sponsors for the NCMC Student Senate are Joanna Anderson and Paula Czirr.
