There will be a family gathering at their home to mark the occasion on Oct. 5, 6 and 7. Tut is a World War II veteran who met Marge after returning home from the war. They were married at the Presbyterian Church in Gallatin on Oct. 6, 1946. After 10 years in Gallatin they moved to Branson for three years. They resided in Liberty for 31 years and in 1994 moved back home to Gallatin and Lake Viking. Marge and Tut have traveled to 11 countries and 43 states. In addition to a love of traveling, the couple is most happy spending time cooking and entertaining family and friends. The McAfees have four children: Candy Thompson of Portland, Ore.; Cindy Ayers of Carlisle, Penn.; Mindy Pyeatt of North Kansas City; and Tut Jr. of Excelsior Springs; as well as four grandchildren.
