Mr. and Mrs. Carl G. Baker of Gallatin celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Pat and Carl were married on Sept. 2, 1956, in Maryville.

Carl and Pat have five children, Carla and husband David Arnold; Stan Baker; Tina and husband Doug Kean; Becky Wycoff; and Stacy Baker; and 11 grandchildren. Carl was Superintendent of Schools in Gower, at East Buchanan School Systems and retired from the Gallatin R-V School District. Carl has a family real estate business in Gallatin.
