Funeral services for Mary Tuttle will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31, at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin Booster Club or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Mary E. Tuttle, 82, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at Quail Run Health Care Center in Cameron.

Mrs. Tuttle was born March 17, 1924, to Temple and Annie (Krause) Evens in Breckenridge. She attended Breckenridge High School.

On Feb. 20, 1965, she married Dale Tuttle. They were married for 41 years.

Mrs. Tuttle worked with her husband on their farms in Gallatin and Breckenridge for many years. She also worked at the Hamilton Shoe Factory.

She attended the Assembly of God Church in Breckenridge.

Mrs. Tuttle was preceded in death by a son, Jerald Lewellen; brothers, Earl Evans, Rex Johnson, Dennis Evans; sisters, Mildred Kottman, Minnie Etherton, Beulah Wilson and Catherine Nichols.

Survivors include her husband, Dale, of the home; seven daughters, Dianna Holt, Breckenridge, Karen Jones, Gallatin, Dawn Smith and Marty Bolt, both of Kansas City, Delores Kuttler, Trenton, Dixie Dawson, Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Debra McComas, Ojai, Calif; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
