Family graveside service for Eleanor Daniel was held Saturday, Aug. 26, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Maryville. Mrs. Daniel has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph.

Eleanor Youtsey Daniel, 76, St. Joseph, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at her home.

Eleanor was born on Sept. 14, 1929, in McFall, to Dr. J.F. and Elyse (Holcomb) McCulley. She was a 1947 graduate of Pattonsburg High School and a 1950 graduate of Missouri Methodist Hospital’s School of Nursing.

Mrs. Daniel practiced nursing at Barnes University, St. Louis; St. Francis Hospital, Maryville; and Seaside Hospital, Crescent City, Calif., for a total of 37 years.
She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Norma Brown Hoobler; and two husbands, Frank Youtsey, in 1989; and Gene Daniel, in 1993.
Survivors include three sons, Roy Youtsey, Columbia, Jeff Youtsey, Lafayette, Tenn., and David Youtsey, St. Joseph; one daughter, Mary Lu Miller, Princeton, Ill.; one sister, Joy Johnson, St. Joseph; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
