The Gallatin R-5 Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 17 in the family and consumer science room.

The agenda will include bills; ledger copy – final numbers provided for 2005-2006; investments and visitors.
Old business will go over board policies/website/gallatin.k12.mo.us, and 2006 board policies and wellness discussion and decision.
During new business, the board will cover tax rate hearing and levy setting; presentation of new budget with new levy; long range planning report; and bus route approval. The board will approve GTB transfer under S.B. 287. This could build a balance for roof replacement; construction; building remodeling /upgrade; and general building repair.
The superintendent’s report will be over update for Aug. 24. Principals Mr. Burrell, Mr. Elbert and Mrs. Warren will report.
The board will hold executive session to discuss personnel.
Next meeting is set for Sept. 14.
