Traffic Fines

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment by mail of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $4164.50 for 39 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $1,563.50 for 24 cases. Courts costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $56.50 for moving traffic violations. Missouri defendants, offenses and fines are listed below:

Vision reducing material: Barry D. Bartlett, Jamesport, $28.50; Abigail F. Johnson, Kansas City, $28.50; Courtney J. Huffman, Kansas City, $28.50.

Operating commercial motor vehicle without wearing seat belt: Irvan J. Egan, Independence, $28.50.

Speeding amended by prosecuting attorney to failure to equip vehicle with adequate muffler: John D. Gourley, St. Joseph, $143.50; Mathew A. Williams, Bethany, $143.50; Jake L. Wightman, Maysville, $143.50.

No seat belt: Brett W. Lang, Gallatin, $10; Adam L. Fauss, Lee’s Summit, $10; Robert L. Franklin, Princeton, $10; Christopher A. Spinner, Kidder, $10; John W. Anthuis, Gallatin, $10.

Speeding: Henry L. Nalle, Pattonsburg, $28.50; Arminda R. Moffett, Lawson, $88.50.

Defective lights: Derrick B. Fee, Hamilton, $18.

Operating commercial vehicle with unsafe wheel: Troy s. Meinecke, Chillicothe, $78.50.

Passing vehicle and interfering with traffic: Christine L. Webber, Altamont, $128.50.

No proof of insurance: Michael P. Bosley, Trenton, $103.50.

Child under four not in seat belt: Donneta L. Springer, Laclede, $21.

Whitney L. Bates Kansas City, was fined $88.50 for speeding and $103.50 for no insurance.
