A talent show and a square dance featuring "Saturation Point" will kick off events on Thursday evening, Aug. 24.

Students from Gayla’s Dance Studio will perform on Friday evening, Aug. 25. Then "Grass Widow" will take the stage.

High quality rock ‘n roll with a party-like rapport is what it’s all about. With musical backgrounds ranging from Gospel & Country to Blues & Heavy Metal, the diversity of these musicians is unparalleled. Father Vincent Rogers sings in this band. The band will be playing retro hits by artist like The Beatles, Pretenders, Stevie Nicks, REM, Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow, Heart, Chicago, Gary Wright, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin and many more.

Saturday begins early with a baby show with Little Mr. and Miss and a rain or shine parade. Noon begins in high gear with a low gear antique tractor pull registration. Prizes will be awarded. Have a tenderloin and homemade pie for dinner.

Saturday afternoon will feature games and contests for kids and adults alike. Sign up for pennies in the sand, sack race, 3-legged race, egg toss, watermelon eating, women’s nail driving, super farmer, country woman, and whole lots more. Carnival game inflatables are provided by Party Time, Inc. After supper that evening, there will be an auction followed by entertainment from "The Girlfriends."

Church in the Park will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27.

Free drawings will be held every night after the entertainment. Bring your lawn chairs.

Remember to bring you old eyeglasses and hearing aids and donate them to the Jameson Lions Club. They will be repaired and distributed free of charge by Lions Clubs International to the sight and hearing impaired, worldwide.
