Auditions for this fall’s Children’s Theater League production, “The Kids Will Rock Tonight,” will be held Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Community Arts Theater in Hamilton.

Vocalists and dancers from sixth through ninth grade are needed. Vocalists will audition at 2 p.m. Vocalists need to supply sheet music for accompanist Nancy Sandy or bring an audition tape.
Dance tryouts will follow the vocalists at 4 p.m. Dancers will be taught a short routine prior to their tryout.
A few non-singing character parts are available. Tryouts for these parts will be between 2-4 p.m. with the vocalist tryouts. A script will be furnished.
This is the first time a live band has accompanied this age group at the community theater, so don’t miss the opportunity. The band includes Tim and Jamie Dunagan and Terri Henry and will feature music from the ‘50s and early ‘60s era. The production will be held Saturday night, Sept. 23, with a Sunday matinee on Sept. 24. The following communities have been invited to participate: Gallatin, Polo, Braymer, Breckenridge, Cowgill and Cameron.
