Herbert and Cecilia Whitt of Gallatin will celebrate their 70^th wedding anniversary on Aug. 23.

Friends and relatives are invited to send cards to the honorees at 601 S. Prospect St., Gallatin, 64640. Their children are Betty and Connie Bashford of Cameron, Mary and Lee Campbell of Chula Vista, Calif, Don and Nancy Whitt of North Kansas City, Larry and Sharon Whitt of Weston. There are 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
