Claudie Lea Read, 86, Gilman City, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; step-daughter, Rosie Cameron; brother, Clarence Clark; sisters, Bonnie Weldon and Lois Willis.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Mull, Independence; one son, Gary Sweany, Merriam, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
