James Lewis, bridge supervisor, reported that they had poured the concrete at the bridge under construction in Salem Township.
The commission had a tele-conference with other commissioners in the Region H Homeland Security District. The purpose was to set criteria for nomination of a representative to the newly established Regional Homeland Security Oversight Committee. Ballots will be mailed to each commissioner in the region.
The commission met with the DeKalb County Commission to discuss prisoner medical costs.
Dave Wilson met with the commission regarding the display that he and Bill Latimer are constructing for the 1906 flag.
The commission inspected roads and culverts in Liberty Township in the afternoon.
Jason Helton, Premium Standard Farms, met with the commission regarding community affairs.
