Samantha Parman attended "Camp Survivor" Girl Scout Camp at Camp Woodland, Albany, July 16-21. While there she enjoyed horseback riding and finger weaving. There were 13 other girls there from around the state. Samantha is the daughter of Vernon and Valerie Parman of Winston, and the granddaughter of Joann Uthe, Winston, and Norna Mae Parman, Denver, Mo.
Carl Parman attended Wolverine Football Camp at Maysville for grades three to six from July 18-20. He enjoyed learning many offensive and defensive football skills. He is the son of Vernon and Valerie Parman of Winston, and the grandson of Joann Uthe of Winston and Norna Mae Parman of Denver, Mo.
Valerie Parman of Winston and Norma Eckerson of Maryville surprised their mother Joann Uthe on her birthday on July 19 by taking her out for lunch. Joan Turner, Patty Heldenbrand and Carl Parman joined them in Cameron for lunch.
