A group of national FFA award winners, advisors and national staff, including Erin Croy of the Gallatin FFA Chapter, toured agricultural sites in Costa Rica this summer and compared the industry in Central America and the United States. Following an orientation session in Miami on June 20, the group departed for a 10-day tour. Seminar participants were selected from national agricultural proficiency award finalist and American Star Farmer and Star in Agribusiness finalists named last November at the 78th National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ken.
