Traffic Fines

The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment by mail of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri was $3,874.50 for 39 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $1,428.50 for 13 cases. Courts costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $56.50 for moving traffic violations. Missouri defendants, offenses and fines are listed below:

Speeding amended by prosecuting attorney to failure to equip vehicle with adequate muffler: William L. Frisbie, Cainsville, $193.50.

Speeding: William R. Gibson, Gallatin, $193.50; John R. Creamer, Kansas City, $88.50.

Vision reducing material not in compliance: Joseph M. Urnise, Kansas City, $28.50; Marion V. Rockford, Gladstone, $28.50.

Speeding in construction zone: Avery J. Snelson, Springfield, $63.50; Thomas R. Page, Liberty, $308.50; William P. Arney, Bethany, $278.50; Deanna M. Manley, Smithville, $93.50.

No seat belt: Michael J. Hillyard, New Hampton, $10.

Failure to drive on right half of roadway: Jeremy D. Matthis, Jamesport, $38.50.

Melanie Crabtree, Bethany, was fined $93.50 for speeding in a construction zone and $10 for no seat belt.

Marriage

James Wayne Dannatt and Joanna Kay Gard, both of Trenton, were married July 17, 2006, by Judge Daren Adkins.
