The next meeting of the Tree Climbers will be Thursday evening, July 20, at 7 p.m. All interested in family history and area genealogy are invited and welcome to attend the meetings. The sale of the Pattonsburg alumni books are going really well. Also the raffle tickets for the quilt are still available. The filing of the different folders of clippings have been completed. Each family surname is in a separate folder. We will file and story any family information anyone has that we can store a copy of. That might help someone in their family research.
The Crossroads Sewing Club members met Wednesday, July 5. For the field trip this year we enjoyed eating out. Some of the members on their way home went by the Bethany Care Center and visited Frances Lowery and Dorlene Munn. Those stopping by were Virginia Hooten, Mildred McDaniel, Betty Plymell and Lavena Lowrey. Betty Rouner and Sherry Rouner drove home a different way. Other members were unable to attend.
