The Gallatin R-5 Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on July 13 in the Family and Consumer Science room at the high school.
Final numbers will be provided for the ledger copy and the board will go over bills and investments.
Old business will cover board policies, including discussion on a "wellness policy" with a decision to be made on Aug. 17. A.S.B.R. needs to be approved. Gallatin is on the web at gallatin.k12.mo.us.
During new business, the student and teacher handbook will need to be approved. Principals Elbert, Burrell and Warren will report. The board will hear a long-range planning report, an ISS lease/contact, and a personnel report. The levy hearing for the 06-07 budget is Aug. 17 and needs a motion.
Superintendent will report on summer maintenance, playground equipment, an update for Aug. 24 and a superintendents meeting July 31/Aug. 1.
The board will hold executive session to discuss personnel.
Next meeting is Aug. 17.
