With the 4th of July behind us, some think the summer is half over, while some of you will believe that we still have half the summer to go!
Hopefully, everyone enjoyed a safe day off from their regular routine to spend with family, friends, a BBQ grill, or enjoying some area fireworks.
We started the spring-summer season with lots of yard work and junk removal, so let’s not let the dog-days of summer stop our enthusiasm. We’ve still got a long ways to go!
I was beginning to think that yard mowing and trimming was about done, since we haven’t been able to have a rain cloud stay over our community long enough to fill all those cracks in the yard, but what a welcome relief for what little bit of rain that we did get. Believe me, I have tried everything to bring on the rain clouds. I’ve washed my car, hung clothes out on the line, left my car and house windows open, got the motorcycle out and had an outside BBQ and picnic. So, if anyone has any other ideas to bring on the rain, please try it!
Until next time,
