The recently released moved and the fiction book “The Da Vinci Code” is a direct attack on the Bible and specifically on the Son of God Jesus Christ. It defames the name of our Lord and Savior and mocks true Christianity. It is filled with lies (fantasies) which attempt to degrade our faith and belief in the ‘Risen Savior” and our belief in the resurrection to come and eternal life.
I would encourage true believers to strongly defend your faith in God’s Word and not to say “Oh, well, it is fiction, after all.”
I further urge and recommend you to read the book “The Da Vinci Myth Versus the Gospel Truth” by Dr. D. James Kennedy. He has done an exhaustive study and gives you an item by item contrast between the truth and the falsehoods of the book and movie. He also gives you a valid picture of the dangers of this so called “Code.”
