Representatives of Onyx Waste Services Midwest, Inc. announced today that on July 1, 2006, the name of their facility will be changed to Veolia ES Solid Waste Midwest, Inc. Company officials further stated that they are also adopting the brand name "Veolia Environmental Services" to better associate the facility and its equipment with its parent "Veolia Environment" and other members of the Veolia family of companies.
The facility will continue to be managed locally with headquarters in Milwaukee, Wis.
"While we still have the same management and support team based here in Bethany, we’re making this change to let people know that we are part of the Veolia family," said Roger Smith, general manger of the facility. "Besides the new name and a new look on our trucks, the rest of our organization will be staying the same. We want our customers to know that this will have no impact on our commitment to providing quality waste disposal services, while ensuring environmental excellence in everything we do."
Starting this year, the new brand name will be seen on the facility’s waste collection trucks, waste containers, invoices and other printed materials. Officials said the change will have no impact on the company’s existing contacts, employees, community involvement or any other aspect of the organization.
