Funeral services for Carolyn Meek will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the First Christian Church in Pattonsburg. Burial will be in McFall Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. Carolyn Sue Meek, 65, Cameron, formerly Pattonsburg, died Monday, June 12, 2006.

Mrs. Meek was born Oct. 3, 1940, in Pattonsburg to Lowell and Geraldine (Gardner) Teel. She was a 1958 graduate of Pattonsburg High School.

She married John R. Daniel in July, 1958, and they made their home on a farm northwest of Pattonsburg until his death in 1984. She later married Ernest Meek of Winston in February, 1989, and they made their home in Winston until 2000. They then moved to Cameron.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, J.C. Teel; a niece, Kirby, and a step-granddaughter, Bambi.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest; one daughter, Cindy Juhl of Wathena, Kan.; two sons, Tony Daniel of Cameron, and Kevin Daniel of Lee’s Summit; one stepson, Gus Meek of Weatherby; one stepdaughter, Melinda Decker of St. Joseph; four brothers, Bob Teel of Gladstone, Jack Teel of Cameron, Randy Teel of Liberty, and Greg Teel of Pattonsburg; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
