The Winston Truck Stop reported a burglary on June 3. Sandy K. Bridgeman, manager, discovered a black male leaving her office. Upon checking her office, she discovered that two money bags were missing. One contained only receipts, but the other contained exactly $2,000. The entire incident was caught on the video surveillance tape.

David J. Mitchell, 43, Gallatin, was arrested June 2 on Carroll County felony warrants for statutory rape second degree, and two counts of sexual abuse. Bond was set at $100,000.

Shannon Brake, 29, Trenton, was arrested May 31 on a Livingston County warrant for forgery, class C felony. He is being held at Livingston County on $10,000 bond.

Billy D. Eads, 22, Galt, was arrested May 31 during a traffic stop and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He is being held at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail on $500 bond.

Robert W. Sayles, 25, Kansas City, Kan., was arrested May 31 for driving while suspended, misdemeanor. He posted $500 bond. He was involved in a minor traffic accident on I-35.

Chester Dixon, 39, St. Paul, Minn., was arrested in a traffic stop on May 31 for misdemeanor no valid license. He posted $500 bond.

Janet Ward, 37, Cameron, was charged June 2 with failure to appear on an order to show cause for non-payment of fines on original charges of driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia. She posted $2,318.50 bond.

Matthew Hardin, 22, Santa Ana, Calif., was arrested June 4 for driving while suspended, misdemeanor. He posted $500 bond.

Heidi Thorn, 22, Trenton, was charged June 5 with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. She posted $750 bond.
