Candace A. McDonald of Des Moines, Iowa, was born on Feb. 23, 1924 and passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the Des Moines Kavanaugh House on 56th St. Candace is preceded in death by her parents, Ferol A. and William M. McDonald, a brother Roland and two sisters Elizabeth and Dee. She leaves one surviving brother Donald McDonald of Vallejo, Calif., four children Ronee M Peterson and husband Jim of Cheyenne, Wyo., Robert J. Warrick and wife Bertha, of Des Moines, Iowa, Susan E. Dillon and husband, Harlon of Gentry, Mo, Timothy M. Warrick and wife Jill of Des Moines, Iowa; five grandchildren, Steven Howard of Independence, Donna Gibbons of Cheyenne, Wyo., Jim Hallock of Gallatin, Tricia Salmon of Coffey, and Angela Griess of Des Moines, Iowa, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Candace was a retired commercial artist, a past president of the MS Foundation and a recognized member of the Masters Society of Artists of Calif.
