As Memorial Day weekend arrives, let us take a moment to reflect and pay tribute to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for us. Please try to attend the memorial services at the cemetery. Take pride in all the beautiful flags that will be gracing our town and the courthouse lawn. What a statement that makes. Thanks to all of you who take the time to place and remove those flags.

Our city will be busy with family, friends and schoolmates coming to decorate, spend a long weekend, or go to the many alumni banquets.
