Funeral Services for Betty Popplewell were held Tuesday at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. Burial was in McFall Cemetery.

Betty June (Parks) Popplewell, 72, Albany, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at a St. Joseph hospital.
Mrs. Popplewell, the daughter of Floyd and Pauline (Lupfer) Parks, was born July 16, 1933 in McFall.

On May 31, 1949, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Popplewell. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include four sons, Bob, Stanberry, Mike and Jerry, both of Albany, and Larry, serving in Iraq; five daughters, Rose Ann Shipers, Pattonsburg, Norma Crabtree, Albany, Kathy Goble, Bethany, Judy Fox, Stanberry, and Brenda Popplewell, Albany; one brother; two sisters; and 85 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Popplewell was a homemaker. She was a member of the Stanberry PTA and was a bowler on the Modern Woodman’s Bowling Team.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Hilary Wynne Popplewell; and two brothers.
