Seven area 2006 high school seniors are among 48 players who will participate in the 15th Annual Lions District 26F All-Star Basketball Classic in Maryville on June 3.

The all-star games for girls and boys will be played in Bearcat Arena on the Northwest Missouri State University campus. The girls game will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the boys game at 6:30.
Tickets for the event are $4 in advance and $5 at the door. Tickets may be obtained from a Lions Club member, or by contacting Chuck Tripp at 816-669-3608.
Area athletes participating in the all-star games are Gallatin’s Maria Burge and Kinsey Batson, Winston’s Jared Lee and Daniel Williams, Pattonsburg’s Nicole Slobodnik and Whitney Mason, and Gilman City’s Whitney Houser. Tina Holt, head Gilman City girls coach, will serve as one of the coaches for the Girls Purple Team.
