Diana F. Phillippe, 62, Stanberry, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at her home from a short illness of cancer.
Mrs. Phillippe, the daughter of Charles and Lena (Leintz) Edington, was born May 6, 1944, in Aurora, Ind.
On March 29, 1986, Diana married Ron Phillippe in Stanberry.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edington; brother, Charles Edington; and stepson, Jeff Phillippe.
Survivors include her husband, Ron of the home; mother, Lena Edington, Cameron; two daughters, Tammy Mercer, Gentry, and Helen Hiley, Altamont; two sons, Ron Hurkman, Dallas, Texas, and Ken Hurkman, Stanberry; two stepsons, Brian and David Phillippe, both of Tacoma, Wash.; two brothers, Butch Edington, Plattsburg, and Mike Edington, Kansas City; two sisters, Ruth Howard, Indiana, and Melanie Davis, Grain Valley;15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
