Debra Deanne Daniels, 46, died May 3, 2006, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, after a long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Daniels was born Oct. 27, 1959, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Charles F. and Thelma L. (Losey) Shirkey.
She married Jack E. Daniels on Jan. 21, 1989, in Denver at the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Daniels was the director for the Harrisonville Ministerial Alliance thrift store for the past six years. She recruited and trained volunteers.
She was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene in Harrisonville, where she was an usher and a communion server.
Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma; and one sister, Linda Sue Shirkey, in 1964.
Survivors include her husband, Jack, of the home; one son, Brandon; and one daughter, Lindsay, both of the home; her father, Charles Shirkey and his wife, Imogene, Littleton, Colo.; one stepson, Adam Daniels, Denver, Colo.; one stepbrother, Dana Allen Shirkey, Empire, Colo.; and one sister, Dianne Brinkley, Spokane, Wash.
