Rebecca Griffin of Jameson was among several who were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements during the commencement ceremony held at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on May 4.
The Dr. Carol Morris Award is presented to a student who excelled in the study of health science. Griffin is a medical lab technician major.
294 will receive degrees, certificates from NCMC
Associate degrees and one-year certificates will be conferred upon 294 graduates during commencement exercises on Saturday, May 13, at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. The ceremony will be held in the Ketcham Community Center beginning at 10:30 a.m.
John Phillip Hamilton, CEO of the Pershing Health System and a graduate of NCMC will give the commencement address. NCMC Student Senate President Bart George will give the evocation. Dean of Instruction Dr. James Gardner, Doug Dible Board of Trustees vice president, and Diane Raynes Board of Trustees past president will confer the degrees. The NCMC Board of Trustees and the College’s associate deans will assist with the presentation of diplomas, certificates and honors.
Honors recognition is given to those students who achieved outstanding academic performance. In the graduate list that follows, ** indicates students graduating with highest honors (3.85 or higher GPA), while * indicates students graduating with honors (3.5-3.84 GPA), AA = Associate in Arts degree, AAS = Associate in Applied Science, AGS = Associate in General Studies, CT = Certificate.
