Nathan presented his electronic education portfolio and discussed steps he completed in the portfolio.
Altamont native, Nathan Uthe, a senior business education major at Northwest Missouri State University, attended the National Business Education Association meeting in Tampa on April 11-15. While there, he co-presented a session on E-Portfolios are Easy! with Dr. Nancy Zeliff and Ms. Kimberly Schultz. Nathan presented his electronic education portfolio and discussed steps he completed in the portfolio.
In the last year, Nathan has served as the Student Representative to the North Central Business Education Association, which includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Nathan attended the regional conference in November 2005 in Indianapolis and recently attended the national conference in April 2006 in Tampa. He represented students in the eight-state region on the administrative board. At the final meeting of the board, he was presented with a plaque for his service.
Nathan completed his student teaching with Mrs. Barbara Holcomb at Gallatin High School in Spring 2006. He will be a Graduate Assistant in the CS/IS Department at Northwest in the 2006-2007 school year and enroll in the MBA program.
