Gene Linville, 56 passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Graveside services were held Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin. There was a family visitation Friday evening at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Gene was born December 28, 1949 to Everett and Doris (Frazier) Linville in Gallatin, Mo. He graduated from Gallatin High School in 1968. After graduation he worked heavy construction, later enlisting in the US Army in 1969 to serve his country. After his tour of duty he started his own trucking company and worked as an owner-operator for many years in the trucking industry. He was currently employed by the Froman Grain Company where he enjoyed being outside and working with livestock. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Gene is preceded in death by his father, Everett Linville and brother Ronnie.
Survivors include two sons; L.G. Linville, Ozark, Mo., Kevin Linville, St. Joseph, Mo., daughter Amanda Linville, Gallatin, mother Doris Linville, Gallatin, two sisters, Lana McLaughlin, Maryville, Mo., and Roxanne Self, Ozark, Mo. and 5 grandchildren.
