Bob and Glenetta Taylor brought Letha Shipers home April 28. They came earlier in the month for her eye doctor appointment, then took her to the airport on the April 14. She flew to Boise, Idaho where she visited her daughter Karen and husband Bill Hardin and family. She got to see great-grandchildren that she had not seen. They had a family gathering while she was there, including Mr. and Mrs. Billy Hardin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hardin and family, Danita and Dean Haeuter and family. From Boise she also went to Eugene, Ore., to visit another daughter, Anna, and husband Mike Knefaty. Both families took her sightseeing to different places. They celebrated both Karen and Anna’s birthday while she was there. Even with some plane delays and missing some of the flights home, she still enjoyed the trip, but was glad to be back safely.
Those visiting Donna Bell this weekend were Carolyn and John Fox and children, Joshua and Jordan, of Blue Springs and some of their fiends, Chad, Lizz and Katelyn, of Independence.
Wednesday night visitors of Leroy and Janelle Mikes were Sandra Holman and Lee Mikes.
Sunday evening guests of Butch and Evelyn Bayne were David and Jessica Barnett and David’s brother, Bill, and Judy Bayne. They enjoyed a cook-out following the most welcome rain.
Saturday visitors of Woodrow and Maxine Morris were Forrest and Jeanna Morris. Sunday visitors were Cheryl and Bill Adams, Dorlene Munn, Forrest and Billie Meadows.
Donald and Eulonda Breeze, Hamilton, Julia Cornett, Pattonsburg, Judy and Roger Petes, Kidder, went out of town for Saturday evening meal to celebrate Donald and Eulonda’s 60th wedding anniversary.
Visiting Idas Stitt this past week has been her daughter, Betty Stratton, Dallas, Texas. Others visiting were Carolyn Chronister, Kansas City, Clayton and Gwen Stitt, Karma Epperson, Bill and Sandra Goble and Twila Carter.
Gene and Kathy Walker visited Chris, Jennifer and Laila Troxler and Kristin Walker of Kansas City on Saturday. On Sunday they visited Gary, Betty, Christopher and Tyler Woodring and Heather Bailey, all of Turney.
