Thirteen members of Laureate Delta Rho chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met April 17 in Cameron for the dinner meeting celebrating Founder’s Day. Nancy Salmon was presented the Woman of the Year award for her dedication and service to the chapter this year as president. It was also decided to donate money for the GHS band trip to Branson. Members were reminded to take food pantry items to the Senior Center during the month of May. The social committee entertained us with spring surprises for a delayed “First Day of Spring” celebration. The next meeting will be at Evelyn Riley’s home on May 1 with members meeting at Barton’s at 6:45.
