The Pattonsburg R-2 School library was recently selected to receive the "We the People" bookshelf. Selected libraries received 15 nonfiction books with supplemental material for grades kindergarten through twelfth.
The grant was provided through the National Endowment for the Humanities in collaboration with the American Library Association. The grant was awarded to public and school libraries across the U.S. The "We the People" bookshelf was awarded to 1,000 libraries nationwide.
