Funeral services for Charles Strong were held Friday at Hope Lutheran Church in Bethany. Burial was in Alta Vista Cemetery, Weatherby. Arrangements were by Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers to make memorials to the Victory Junction Gang, a Nascar sponsored camp for children, in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.

Charles Anthony Strong, 29, Weatherby, formerly of Bethany, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in Reno County, Kan.

Mr. Strong was born March 27, 1977, the son of Charles and Denise (Whittlesey) Strong. He attended South Harrison schools, graduating in 1996.

Mr. Strong worked at Pizza Hut through high school and then at Variform for five years, helping Kendal and Home Construction. He attended truck driving school and worked with Covenant, TransAm and Baxter trucking. As owner-operator of his own truck and trailer, he presently was employed by Transway.

Mr. Strong was baptized May 29, 1977, and confirmed on May 3, 1992. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bethany

Survivors include his parents of Weatherby; one sister, Cheryl Strong; paternal grandmother, Hattie Strong; and maternal grandmother, Elaine Burrow.
