The Trojanettes girls softball team, composed of players from northwest Missouri, finished in second place last weekend at a tournament in Independence. Maggie Strange of Gallatin is catcher for the team. The Trojanettes now advance to the USSA National Tournament in Hutchison, Kan. The team is coached by David Carroll.
