R-3 solo and trio on to state

North Daviess High School had a successful day at the District Music Festival held in Maryville on Friday, March 31. Two events received a I rating for their performances and are now eligible to perform at the State Music Festival in Columbia on April 28. Those going to state are Brianna Weber for her flute solo, and a saxophone trio of Michael Shaul, Nick Roberts and Heath Deskins.

The high school band received a III rating for their performance as well as a clarinet solo by Elizabeth Merritt.
