The Gallatin Pride Band is planning a trip to Branson on May 5-7. The band will be performing as pre-show for The Presley’s.
"This is an excellent opportunity for us to show off the talents of our students," said Gene Edwards, instrumental music instructor.
Thirty-seven students will be participating in the event. Several parents will be going along to chaperone.
Mr. Edwards said he and the band members appreciate the support the community has given to the music program in the past, and looks forward to again receiving help for the Branson trip. The band is seeking monetary donations and other items, including bottled water, sodas, cups, napkins, chips, and individually wrapped snack items.
Donations should be submitted by Friday, April 21. They may be mailed to or left at the Gallatin High School.
