Funeral services for Helen Graham were held Tuesday at McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. Burial was at Early Cemetery in Mercer. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Gallatin. Martha Helen Graham, 107, Gallatin, died Sunday at the Lake Viking Health Care Center, Gallatin.

Mrs. Graham was born May 31, 1898 to Olie Otho and Naomi (Laughlin) Girdner in Mercer. After graduating from high school she attended a business college in Quincy, Ill. She was united in marriage to Charles (Stubby) Graham on June 2, 1916, in Mercer. He died on Jan. 14, 1977. Mrs. Graham was also preceded in death by a son, Lester; a daughter-in-law Reba; two brothers and a sister. Mrs. Graham worked in the Daviess County Courthouse as the deputy recorder for many years, retiring in 1979. Survivors include grandchildren, Joe Graham of Zanesville, Ohio, Vicki Powelson and Rebecca Brulpolt, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Sally Mercer of Zanesville, Ohio; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
