Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Boyd was held at Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe on Saturday, March 11. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery, Jamesport. Mary Elizabeth Boyd, 87, Chillicothe, died at Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron on Tuesday, March 7, 2006.
Mrs. Boyd was born on June 25, 1918, the daughter of Roger and Elizabeth Indiana (Stephens) Buchanan in Livingston County.
On July 11, 1936, she was married to Wilbur Stevens in Gallatin. He died on June 26, 1979. On June 3, 1980, she was married to Dale Boyd. He died on June 3, 1980.
Mrs. Boyd worked as a sewer or Boss Glove Factory, Chillicothe, for 20 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Chillicothe.
Mrs. Boyd was also preceded in death by a son, Jarrett Lee Stevens, a brother, Harold Buchanan, and a sister, Gladys Alexander.
Survivors include one brother, Richard Buchanan of Chillicothe; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
