Jeremy Courter, 28, Jamesport, was found guilty of misdemeanor DWI yesterday in a jury trial. Courter had been arrested in Jamesport on July 1, 2005. He was assessed a $500 fine, court costs and time served (five days). The case was heard by Judge Barbara Lame. Courter was represented by Michael Arnold.
The case went to jury deliberations at 8:40 p.m., and the verdict was returned at 10:56 p.m. The sentencing stage was then conducted, with the jury returning to the jury room at 11:45 p.m. They returned with the sentence at 11:54 p.m.
