Traffic Fines
The following are traffic cases which were heard in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County involving a plea of guilty without contest and payment by mail of the standard fine plus court costs. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside outside of Missouri are $1,403.50 for 14 tickets. The total fines assessed for defendants who reside in Missouri was $1,608.50 for 28 cases. Nathan E. White, Blue Springs, was fined $28.50 for vision reducing material not in compliance and $58.50 for speeding.

Yvonne E. Stephenson, Gallatin, was fined $67.50 for displaying the plates of another and $37.50 for failure to yield (accident).
Nancy J. Buchanan, Sugar Creek, was fined $27.50 for speeding and $27.50 for license plate required.
Bryan S. Carter, Weatherby, received a suspended imposition of sentence, two years probation, and 35 hours community service for curfew violation and operating vehicle without proper permit.
Eugene R. Baker, Gallatin, was fined $150 for resisting arrest by fleeing, $250 for driving while intoxicated, and $250 for careless and imprudent driving.
Stephanie R. Wise, Gallatin, was fined $100 for driving while suspended, $50 for no insurance, and $10 for no light on rear plate.
Rickey R. Hunsaker, Gallatin, received a suspended imposition of sentence and one year probation for assault, and was fined $150 for peace disturbance.
Small Claims
Brown Lumber vs. Dean Lawson: the claim against the defendant was dismissed without prejudice at plaintiff’s cost.
Adult Abuse/Stalking
A full order of protection was entered Feb. 28 for Brandi Dawn Becker and against Edward Allen Becker, by consent of both parties. This order supersedes the ex parte order of protection and is effective through Feb. 28, 2007.
