Last week, residents prepared doughnuts in cooking class and created shamrock decorations in arts and crafts class. Residents also enjoyed the John Wayne movie "The Searchers" while eating popcorn.
We appreciate Kristen Reason and her family for bringing their puppy, Zoe, to visit the residents last week.
We would also like to thank Dennis Croy and his shop class at Gallatin High School for building the wheel for our Wheel of Fortune game. The residents are looking forward to playing Wheel of Fortune.
We appreciate the Beta Sigma Phi sorority for hosting our February birthday party on Thursday.
This week we will play flyswatter volleyball, bingo and wheel of fortune.
Happy birthday to Bill Arney who will turn 83 on March 9.
We would like to welcome our new Director of Nursing Marquitta Brown. Marquitta has been in the medical field for 26 years and has been a nurse for 13 years. She and her husband Brent have five children and three grandchildren and reside in Coffey.
In addition, we would like to welcome Terri Bolling as our new social services director. Terri has been employed in our nursing department since September, 2005.
March 7 is National Dentist’s Day and we honored Dr. Humphrey by delivering doughnuts to his office.
