“Busybody” raises funds for Advocacy Center

Barbara Brown of Jamesport portrays an uptight secretary secretly in love with her boss in the upcoming mystery comedy production of "Busybody" by the Trenton Acting Guild. The dinner theater event is a fundraiser for the Children’s Advocacy Center slated for March 24-25 at Pleasant View R-9 School in Trenton.

The Children’s Advocacy Center does forensic interviews of abused children and provides assessments, counseling, SAFE exams and advocacy.

Other cast members include Ann Sampson, Jacob Probst, Mark Garvey, Gary Peterson, Linda Dannull, LeAnna Wilcox, and Eric Lorenz, all of Trenton.

Tickets for the meal, served by local Girl Scouts, and the play are on sale now at Trenton Hy-Vee, the Children’s Advocacy Center, and Ketchum Community Center in Trenton.
