William Lee Hostetler, 74, died Monday, Feb. 20, at his home near Jamesport.
Funeral services for William Hostetler were held Thursday, Feb. 23, at the John Kurtz residence. Burial was in the Meadowview Cemetery, under the direction of McWilliams Funeral Home, Jamesport.
William Lee Hostetler, 74, died Monday, Feb. 20, at his home near Jamesport.
Mr. Hostetler was born Sept. 12, 1931, in Plain City, Ohio, to Dan and Emma (Frey) Hostetler. They moved to Jamesport in 1969.
On Feb. 19, 1953, he married Verna Troyer and lived in matrimony for 53 years.
Mr. Hostetler was preceded in death by his parents; one stillborn son; three brothers, John, Eli and Dan; and one sister, Emma.
Other survivors include four children, Linda Gingerich of Jamesport; Jonas Hostetler of Jamesport; Floyd Hostetler of Jamesport, and Wilma Gingerich of Jamesport; two brothers, Lester Hostetler of London, Ohio and Sam Hostetler of Sarsota, Fla; four sisters, Katie Ann Kramer, Bell Center, Ohio, Verna Gingerich, Plain City, Ohio, Gertie Miller, Bell Center, Ohio, and Martha Hostetler, Plain City, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
