Law Day was conducted Feb. 7 by Judge Stephen Griffin. The following cases were heard:
Gerald T. Franks entered a guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance, class C felony, and received a suspended imposition of sentence and five years probation.
James W. Miller entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections for burglary 2nd degree, class C felony.
Dissolutions of marriage was granted to Tony D. Moore from Deborah M. Moore and to Carrie Walker from Brian Walker.
Nancy Johnson plead guilty to operating a vehicle without valid license, class D felony. A sentence assessment report was ordered.
Jessica Youngs plead guilty to forgery, class D felony. A sentence assessment report was ordered.
Judgment was entered for Perry Truitt and against Gail V. Hayes in a wrongful death settlement in the amount of $25,000.
Civil cases filed: State of Missouri vs. Marcus H. Talivaa, property forfeiture; Dana Gwen Utt vs. Brad Matthew Utt, dissolution.
A dissolution of marriage was granted to Chad Youngs from Wendy Youngs on Feb. 14 by Judge Daren Adkins.
