An enlistment bonus of $15,000 is available for Soldiers enlisting for a minimum of three years with military careers involving communications, avionics and mechanics. Every other MOS will receive a $10,000 enlistment bonus. All Military Occupational Specialties are based on availability, and these current enlistment bonuses are good only through May 31, 2006.

Other bonuses being offered include a $5,000 off peak enlistment bonus given to Soldiers that agree to attend Basic Combat Training during the months between October and May. A $5,000 bonus is also offered for individuals willing to attend BCT within 45 days after enlistment. However, no enlistment bonus may exceed $20,000.

For individuals with prior service in the U.S. Military, there are bonuses of $15,000 for a minimum of a six year enlistment or $7,500 for a three year enlistment. National Guard Recruiter Staff Sgt. Barry Adwell stated, "This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual to serve their country part time and receive as much as $20,000 in bonuses on top of their regular military pay."
