James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that they are repairing culverts in the county this week.
At 9 a.m. as advertised, the final budget hearing for all funds for the fiscal 2006 year was held. No one from the public attended. The commission reviewed the final budget forms. The budget document was unanimously accepted. The commissioners then signed the appropriation order.
Allen Wilson, Sheridan Township, met with the commission questioning the methods to close a road.
Jim Woodward, Benton Township, met with the commission discussing permits for confined animal specifications and bridge problems.
David Tolen reported that he and the sheriff attended the Homeland Security Threat and Risk Assessment training in Cameron Jan. 24-26.
